God my times are worse then ever. It's times like these that I think I should have stopped watching View Askew movies(being as I am a Kevin Smith fan) and stick to my volitions about "how I will always play Sonic" and freaking practice. Every time I pick up the controller my hands start to shake and all of the sudden I mess up. Eh, I guess Clerks II, Clerks, Dogma, and Mallrats were pretty funny. you guys don't even want to know how badly I messed up during a Metal Harbor run or the Expert Mode run in sth. Any really good shortcuts you can give me on City Escape and Final Haunt or any level for that matter because my times are looking grim and to make things worse I forgot almost every single shortcut in STH or SA2.

Which version of Final Haunt do you need help with? I can barely remember anything about Shadow nowadays, but I might be able to help.

Use the dark path, not the hero path. That's the main thing I can remember. Just experiment with CC otherwise, and you'll have it down.

I sort of understand what you mean. I just went back to SA2(B) and tried to TA for a bit and I couldn't do it for the life of me. A lot of times I'd be 20-30 seconds behind my own PR, even with new shortcuts from new videos I have watched.

I still haven't managed to get FC1 and CG1 down, despite the fact that I'm fairly good with them.

Just work on it again. Hopefully it'll come back.

The trouble with speeedrunning is that you face yourself, and once you beat yourself and anyone else, your one opponent left is perfection.

Yea, I have problems TAing as well, well, mainly due to the fact that I can't really get any levels well. 2D, 3D are all a like, I can perhaps red a level, but never get records. Even with vids and trying to the best of my ability. Eh, some people just have a nack for these things.

CE doesn't have many huge shortcuts.. you should just watch paragod's video for all he does.

Also, I stoppped taing sa2 levels normally recently and then came back... wasn't really a problem for me. :x.
